Why we built it
Twenty years of document discipline, brought to the job site.
PassiveTask comes from two decades building content and document-management platforms for Fortune 500 companies. These were systems where a single missing record or an expired certificate had real consequences, and where "find me the current version" had to be answerable in seconds.
That world runs on rigor. Construction, we found on our own renovation projects, runs on shoeboxes, group texts, and a shared drive nobody can search. The people doing exceptional work, from custom-home builders and developers to architects and Passive House teams, deserved the same document discipline the enterprise takes for granted.
So we built it for the field, everyone contributes, and the results assembles itself.
